The Mind and Body is a wellness space built around one idea: real health means bringing the body and mind together, not treating them as separate projects.
For some people, health means eating well and thinking clearly. For others, it's building strength, improving fitness, or just finding direction. Here, you'll find practical, easy-to-follow content on fitness, nutrition, mindfulness, meditation, and the daily habits that actually hold up over time.
My Journey
Hi, I'm Swaroop Singh, the creator of The Mind and Body.
My interest in wellness started in school, when I began learning about the body, muscles, and nutrition — mostly out of necessity, since I was dealing with low fitness and physical weakness at the time. I started training at home, stuck with it, and slowly saw real change: more strength, better stamina, better sleep, more energy, more confidence.
Then the pandemic hit, and things fell apart for a while — personal losses, financial stress, anxiety, depression. What pulled me back was, oddly, some of the simplest tools available: meditation, yoga, even gardening. They gave me back a sense of stability when very little else did.
Once things steadied, I went back to serious training — this time keeping the mental side of the work alongside the physical. Over time it became clear that what I'd learned the hard way might actually help someone else going through the same thing. That's why this site exists.
My Approach
Everything here comes from what I've actually lived through — the home workouts that rebuilt my strength, the yoga and meditation that got me through the hardest stretch of my life, the habits that stuck and the ones that didn't. I'm not a certified trainer or nutritionist, and nothing here replaces advice from a doctor or qualified professional, especially if you're managing an injury, a health condition, or a mental health concern. What I can offer is what worked for me, tested over years and shared honestly.
The Mission
Help people move through hard phases — fitness struggles, mental health challenges, bad habits — toward something more balanced and sustainable. Not overnight transformation. Just steady, real progress.
A Growing Community
The Mind and Body is meant to be more than a blog — a space to work on both mind and body, push through challenges, and build discipline and positivity together. Because when both are aligned, everything else gets easier.
